about 1868 in Winston County, Alabama
Our families arrived
early as settlers in America. Several branches
came to New England as early as the winter of 1681. Their stories
can be found in our family genealogy website. My son Alan and
I have been researching our family since 1974 and we have found
the project exciting and rewarding. We have recently expanded our
research through both paternal YDNA and maternal mtDNA tests.
